WHO: 18+ (unless accompanied by a legal guardian). Young adults to seasoned dads will all get something out of this weekend. Guys are encouraged to mentor each other on skills they already know.

COURSE OVERVIEW
- Our culture seeks to destroy the family. Men are encouraged to be weak. They fall into the dopamine addictions of social media, pornography, alcohol, and ultimately become complacent. Men are far removed from the land their ancestors toiled on: The land that God created for them. It is time to return to the nature of Man. Satan fell before Adam was in the garden, therefore; Man's nature was created for spiritual warfare. Adam's sin was leaving his wife unprotected against Satan. It is time to take back our inheritance. It is time for a dopamine detox. It is time to re-wild.
- Men will attend a weekend training course where they will learn a VERY BROAD overview of a variety of skills our culture has failed to teach men. Want to learn how to raise chickens, homestead, sew and patch holes in your clothes, buy a home, fix drywall, dig fence posts, install and wire an outlet/light, use a chainsaw, ride a tractor, defend your home from intruders, start a fire in the rain, build a survival shelter, change a diaper, budget your finances, work in a team, pray better, stop trauma bleeding, negotiate a hostage situation, and more? What happens when you come upon a car accident and someone is bleeding out? What happens when someone breaks into your house? What happens when the grocery stores run out of food? All these topics and more will be covered to give you the CONFIDENCE to provide and protect your loves ones and your community for the greater glory of God.
- BASIC SCHEDULE: (Full schedule will be emailed the week of the event)
- FRIDAY: Men arrive Friday night, park cars, and after a short briefing are tasked to setup a patrol base with LP/OP in the woods, establishing an HQ, starting a covert fire to cook dinner, setting up tents, learning some camping skills, and running R&S teams using a simple COMMS setup. This begins the first training exercises.
- SATURDAY: After cooking breakfast, the men begin at 8AM learning basic survival skills and then general home renovation/construction skills all morning. They will go over basic homesteading skills by the afternoon. Approaching Saturday evening and night they will go over mission planning and run their own realistic operations (geared towards community defense using SUTs), getting chances to be TL, ATL, and OPFOR, and establishing their own SOPs.
- Two examples of the type of missions would be: (1) You come home and your front door is smashed in. You know your wife and kids were home. What next? (2) Flooding and power outages cause local looting and rioting. Law enforcement is overwhelmed responding to other calls. A gang is threatening your neighborhood. What next?
- SUNDAY: Sunday morning they will run a final operation and then have a talk on parenting and another on finances/budgeting. The final talk will be on spiritual warfare and then the course will end just in time for a 3PM Latin Mass at the local parish. Men are free to leave to attend later Masses.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Must be 18+ unless accompanied by a legal guardian
- You may be required to sign an injury waiver at the request of the landowner.
- Course will happen rain or shine. Dress for the weather.
- The location is private property on a homestead and not a retreat center.
- You can come and go at any point during the weekend depending on your schedule.
- Airsoft rifles will be utilized for some drills instead of simunition/blanks to keep costs down. No real ammo!
- Chest rigs/plate carriers, ballistic helmets, NODS/NVGS, and thermal drones are optional.
- Men will be sleeping in tents in the woods Friday and Saturday nights. You have the option to stay on air mattresses in a barn if it's better for your back. There is a flat patch for anyone using overland rigs.
- Meals/MREs will be provided. If you have allergies, bring your own food. There is a fridge.
- The ability for Confession will be provided Saturday by the chaplain(s).
- The weekend ends 1 hour before an optional 3PM Sunday Mass at the local parish.
